As a Vessel Fitter, you will work on dayshift at our Shepard Shop facility. Your primary responsibilities include accurate fitting and assembly, collaborating with fabrication teams, and meeting production targets. You will also ensure adherence to safety policies and maintain high-quality workmanship throughout your tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Precision fitting and alignment of vessel components
• Execute assembly per engineering specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints and layouts
• Identify fit-up issues before welding begins
• Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to safety protocols
Requirements:
• Journeyman trade certificate (Welding or Pipe fitting preferred)
• Over 5 years of vessel fitting experience
• Familiarity with fabrication processes and techniques
• Knowledge of Alberta OHS Act and regulations
• Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
