This Journeyman Welder position at Modine offers the opportunity to work with light gauge steel, aluminum, and stainless steel using GTAW, FCAW, and GMAW methods. Accurate reading of engineering drawings and performing equipment maintenance are essential tasks in this role. The position requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct GTAW welding on light gauge materials

• Interpret and read engineering drawings proficiently

• Maintain welding equipment and perform necessary repairs

• Provide effective problem-solving in manufacturing settings

• Lift up to 50 pounds as needed

Requirements:

• Certified Journeyman Welder

• Experience with GTAW, FCAW, GMAW welding techniques

• Strong ability to multi-task in a manufacturing environment

• Exposure to shears and press brakes is an asset

• Willingness to work extra hours if needed
