B-Pressure Welding Specialist

Position: B-Pressure Welding Specialist Needed
Startec Compression & Process is hiring a B-Pressure Vessel Welder at our Calgary shop. Join us to work on innovative projects focused on energy transition.

In this role, you'll be responsible for welding metal pressure vessels based on precise engineering drawings. The ideal candidate will have a B-Pressure certificate and at least 2 years of relevant experience. The shift runs from 4:30 p.m. to 2:20 a.m., promoting a strong safety culture and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Weld pressure vessels following technical specifications

• Read blueprints and perform layout for welding tasks

• Use various welding processes: SMAW, GMAW, FCAW/GTAW

• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

• Engage in safety and project review meetings

Requirements:

• Journeyman certificate in welding or similar

• Minimum 2 years of vessel welding experience

• Must hold a B-Pressure Certificate

• Experience in manufacturing preferred

• Pass functional and drug testing
