Viacore Calgary is looking for a full Time, hardworking, self‑motivated, experienced Slitter Operator to join its team. The ideal candidate is safety conscious, punctual, reliable, and can work well alone or in a team. This is an immediate vacancy.

Full‑time, Permanent. Reporting to:
Shop Foreman.

$28.67 – $35.26 per hour.

• Ensure all paperwork is accurate and slitting permits correspond to the attached Work Orders
• Cutting various types of belting and related materials by operating the slitter (belt cutting machine)
• Maintain accurate belt inventory through proper cut allocation and product placement throughout the warehouse (i.e. return rolls to proper location)
• Maintain records (i.e. slitting log, belts back list)
• Ensure the best usage of current / existing inventory
• Measure and confirm incoming rolls of belt
• Maintain shop housekeeping
• Assist Shipper / Receiver when required
• Create a positive work environment for yourself and others
• Report any non‑compliance issues to the Shop Foreman / Service Manager

• Must be able to work with minimal direction
• Basic math and measurements

• Ability to work under stressful conditions
• Excellent work ethic, self‑motivated, willing to work overtime if required
• Skilled in using your hands
• A valid G License and reliable transportation
