Fabrication Specialist - Benchfitter

Position: Fabrication Specialist - Bench fitter Role
Startec Compression & Process is seeking a skilled Bench fitter in Calgary, AB. This role focuses on fabricating piping systems within a dedicated industrial fabrication environment.

As a Bench fitter, you will report directly to the Spooling Supervisor and tackle the interpretation of technical drawings to create high-quality piping systems. Your experience in fabrication techniques will ensure efficient workflows and adherence to safety protocols, fostering a productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret customer and company drawings and specifications

• Fabricate spools as per Isometric Drawings

• Conduct flame cutting and tack welding tasks

• Rig and operate cranes for spools

• Ensure maintenance of tools and equipment

Requirements:

• Journeyman Pipefitter certification preferred

• 2+ years of bench fitting experience

• Knowledge of pipe materials and grades

• Strong troubleshooting abilities

• Commitment to safety procedures
