Position Summary
Banded Peak Brewing is looking for a Packaging Auxiliary to join the production team. This full‑time position reports to the Packaging Lead.
The ideal candidate is a reliable self‑starter comfortable working as part of a team and on their own while supporting the policies, goals, and safety practices of Banded Peak Brewing.
Key DetailsSalary: 20$ per hour.
Vacancy Type: Permanent.
Overtime Eligibility: Eligible for overtime pay in accordance with applicable labor laws and collective agreements. Overtime is paid at the legally required rate and may vary based on hours worked beyond the standard schedule.
Responsibilities- Follow SOPs to execute brewery process according to company policy.
- Consistently follow all safety, quality, and sanitization guidelines and routines.
- Execute duties efficiently in line with the packaging schedule.
- Wrap and organize pallets of finished goods.
- Strap and organize blank cans.
- Keep a tidy and organized workspace.
- Pack cans into trays and palletize them.
- Inspect cans during packaging for defects or damage.
- Wash empty kegs.
- Palletize full kegs.
- Perform chemical tests using a titration kit.
- Handle chemicals using appropriate PPE.
- Participate and engage with other internal brewery groups as needed (R&D, Safety, QA).
- Share knowledge and passion of beer to increase beer culture inside and outside the brewery.
- Represent Banded Peak positively at internal and external events.
- Passion for craft beer.
- Flexible schedule.
- Previous experience at a commercial production brewery.
- Previous warehouse experience.
- Forklift experience certification.
- Valid driver’s license.
