RoleElectrical Assembler – contract position. Two shifts are available:
Day and Evening Shift.
We are seeking a detail‑oriented and skilled Electrical Assembler to join our team, specializing in the assembly of electrical panels and wiring harnesses.
Responsibilities- Assembly of electrical panels and wiring harnesses according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Perform soldering, crimping, and wire routing to ensure secure and reliable electrical connections.
- Conduct visual inspections and electrical tests to verify the integrity and functionality of assembled products.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality control teams to address any issues or discrepancies in the assembly process.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and product quality.
- Follow all standard operating procedures and work instructions accurately.
- Minimum high school diploma required.
- 2+ years of electrical component and wiring assembly experience required.
- Proven experience in electrical assembly, specifically in building electrical panels and wiring harnesses.
- Ability to interpret engineered drawings, standard work procedures, and work instructions.
- Requires physical mobility and strength to exert up to 20 kg of lifting force occasionally, up to 10 kg of force lifting frequently, and negligible force to operate material handling equipment.
- IPC‑A‑610 soldering certification is an asset.
- Skilled in soldering, crimping, and using hand and power tools for electrical assembly.
- Basic math and measurement skills (fractions, decimals; imperial and metric) are required.
