Manufacturing Assembler

Position: Insight Global Manufacturing Assembler
Be part of Insight Global’s team in Calgary as a Manufacturing Assembler, supporting PCB assembly and testing in a contract role that may lead to full-time. This position focuses on hands-on technical skills and project documentation.

In this role, you will execute PCB soldering to IPC standards and assist with comprehensive electrical and mechanical testing while maintaining quality through diligent documentation practices. Effective communication is crucial as you participate in daily stand-ups, ensuring alignment with team goals and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct PCB and electronics assembly with accuracy

• Facilitate testing of mechanical and electrical components

• Perform quality assurance checks with detailed documentation

• Comply with ESD practices and safety measures

• Share progress and blockers in daily team stand-ups

Requirements:

• Hands-on soldering experience adhering to IPC standards

• Background in PCB assembly specific to electronics

• Understanding of ESD guidelines in manufacturing

• Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel

• Safety-conscious attitude in technical environments
