Join Home Chef as a Sanitation Associate on the 1st shift from 7:00 AM to 3:45 PM. Ensure cleanliness and food safety in our food processing facility with great attention to detail.
This vital role in our team involves maintaining a sanitary environment, handling janitorial equipment properly, and adhering to all health and safety regulations. You will focus on cleaning, sanitizing, and organizing various areas throughout the facility while supporting food safety initiatives. We're looking for someone who can embrace responsibility and contribute to a safe food production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Empty and sanitize trash receptacles daily
• Clean floors and surfaces using appropriate methods
• Sanitize food manufacturing machinery according to SOPs
• Restock gloves and cleaning supplies as needed
• Test sanitation solutions for compliance with standards
Requirements:
• 2+ years of experience in the food industry
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations
• Ability to work scheduled hours and follow guidelines
