Northeast Metal Fabrication Labourer

Hazloc Heaters is hiring a Metal Fabrication Labourer in Northeast Calgary. This position requires a solid background in metalworking and a strong commitment to quality and teamwork.

In this role, you will assist in the manufacturing of industrial equipment by performing various fabrication tasks. Your daily activities will include interpreting work instructions, using hand tools, and prepping materials for welding. The successful candidate will have 1 to 3 years of experience in metal fabrication and thrive in an efficient workshop setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret detailed work instructions accurately

• Utilize hand tools for grinding and sanding

• Inspect parts for quality and defects

• Prepare metal for welding by grinding and beveling

• Conduct maintenance on fabrication equipment

Requirements:

• 1 to 3 years of direct metalworking experience

• Proficient in written and verbal English

• Required manual dexterity for lifting

• Must adhere to safety standards with PPE

• Strong attention to fabrication detail
