Manufacturing Packager

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Manufacturing Packager to join a growing team within a large Engineering/Manufacturing company in Calgary. It is a 10‑month contract with strong potential for permanent hire. This role is responsible for packaging precision bearing products according to established manufacturing procedures and quality standards. This is not a simple packaging position, successful candidates will be expected to follow detailed processes, handle industrial products safely, and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Candidates must be comfortable lifting and moving large boxes weighing up to 40 lbs and working in a fast‑paced production environment.

• Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, packaging, warehouse, or industrial environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
• Ability to follow detailed packaging procedures and work instructions
• Comfortable lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs on a regular basis
• Experience handling large or bulky products/materials safely
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to workplace protocols
• Ability to stand, move, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
• Effective communication skills and ability to follow written instructions – Experience working with bearings, mechanical components, or precision parts
• Forklift certification or material handling experience
• Quality control or inspection experience
• Mechanical aptitude or familiarity with manufacturing processes
• Experience using ERP systems, scanners, or inventory tracking tools
