Join CDN as a Control Systems Programmer, working in Calgary, Edmonton, or Grande Prairie.
Your role will center on the design and maintenance of automation systems, ensuring facility safety and efficiency.
As part of the CDN team, you will coordinate control system design and software development, implementing processes that safeguard system integrity at oil and gas facilities. This role requires you to facilitate troubleshooting operations across complex projects, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and equipment reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop software for PLC and DCS applications
• Assist in onsite commissioning and startup processes
• Perform technical tasks for control and automation systems
• Provide thorough documentation for all changes
• Ensure safe work procedures are followed at all times
Requirements:
• Expertise in field automation, specifically with PLCs
• Experience with Allen Bradley hardware and software
• Understanding of complex control systems
• Clean class 5 driver's abstract and safety certifications
• Proven ability to improve existing automation processes
