Production Planning Manager

Lead operational excellence as Production Planning Manager at Interpro Pipe & Steel in Calgary. Drive production planning and scheduling from steel order to delivery for OCTG and line pipe mills.

This role demands a detail-oriented leader with a Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or related fields. Collaboration across sales, operations, and finance is key to managing demand and supply effectively. You will ensure production schedules align with customer needs while meeting inventory and profitability goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee planning cycle for OCTG and small diameter line pipe mills

• Monitor production of customer orders throughout the process

• Update production schedules as customer requirements change

• Facilitate negotiations between production, sales, and shipping departments

• Generate inventory reports for raw materials and finished goods

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in supply chain or operations management

• Min. 3 years in manufacturing planning

• Proficient in supply chain analytics

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to navigate ambiguity and multi-site operations
