Position: Class B Pressure Fitter (AFS)

Advanced Flow Systems is looking for an experienced and energetic Class B Pressure Fitter to join our Piping department in Calgary, AB.

The Role:

Class B Pressure Fitter

The position of Class B Pressure Fitter includes but is not limited to production fitting and welding of standard and custom vessels and piping. Responsibilities will include the use of various hand tools, the fabrication of custom products from supplied drawings, fabrication of custom jigs and fixtures to produce production parts that meet customer specifications, as well as the fabrication of metal structures using jigs and fixtures in a high paced production environment.

Functions For This Role Are
  • Work with Supervisors and Lead Hands to ensure continuous improvements in the work cells hitting daily goals set, fitting according to pre-set parameters using TIG, MIG, and flux core welding processes.
  • Read and follow drawings and blueprints to set up, tack, and weld
  • Complete all required paperwork and necessary preparation work
  • Maintain a safe, clean and orderly work area
  • Work in accordance with documented procedures and complete all applicable records
Experience, Qualifications, And Skills Required
  • Fitting experience on Stainless and Carbon steel pipe and vessels
  • Welding of Stainless Steel using GMAW
  • TIG welding experience with Stainless Steel and Carbon Steel
  • Mig welding experience on Stainless and Carbon steel pipe and vessels
