Gahcho Kué Mine Plant Operator Role

Step into the role of Process Plant Operator at De Beers' Gahcho Kué Mine, working on a fixed-term contract until June 2027. This opportunity emphasizes plant operation efficiency and safety standards.

Reporting to the Process Plant Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring optimal functioning of all plant equipment and systems during your 14-day on/14-day off rotation.

Your role is crucial in supporting successful diamond recovery operations within a sustainable framework, aligning with De Beers’ mission to operate ethically and protect the environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate various plant machinery including conveyors and pumps

• Monitor equipment for malfunctions and operational efficiency

• Maintain comprehensive logs of plant performance

• Follow SOPs for safe equipment handling and maintenance

• Assist in personnel transitions within the plant

Requirements:

• Relevant experience with mobile and plant machinery

• Strong adherence to safety standards

• Willingness to work in remote conditions

• Individuals from local First Nations communities preferred

• Background screening will be conducted
