Become an integral part of CoolIT Systems as a Manufacturing Automation Engineer in Calgary, focusing on optimizing production through advanced automation techniques.
CoolIT Systems is actively seeking an Automation Engineer to lead in the design and implementation of manufacturing and testing automation systems. The role requires a strong background in PLC programming, machine control technologies, and a passion for continuous improvement. Collaborating with various teams, you will handle end-to-end project management for automation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement fully integrated assembly and testing systems
• Develop functional requirements and machine controls
• Program and integrate advanced automated equipment
• Prepare technical documents and SOPs for equipment
• Provide ongoing troubleshooting and production support
Requirements:
• Degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering
• Experience with PLC, HMI, and servo-motion systems
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles
• Must have authorization to work in Canada
