Startec Compression & Process seeks a skilled Journeyperson Machinist for our dayshift at the Shepard Shop facility. The ideal candidate will collaborate with various teams to meet production schedules while ensuring quality and safety. A strong mechanical aptitude and experience with manual programming and CAM software are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain lathe and milling machines

• Select appropriate machine settings for tasks

• Review drawings and adjust production as needed

• Maintain quality assurance documentation and processes

• Promote a safety-first culture amongst the team

Requirements:

• Journeyperson Certificate, Red Seal preferred

• Minimum 5 years of machining experience

• Proficiency in CNC and Manual machine operation

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Ability to interpret technical drawings
