THE OPPORTUNITYWe are currently seeking experienced
Forklift Operators
to join our Calgary manufacturing facility supporting the fabrication and assembly of natural gas compression equipment.
Available shifts:
- Day Shift:6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- Night Shift: 4:30 PM – 2:30 AM
This is not a typical warehouse forklift position. Our operators are responsible for safely moving large fabricated assemblies, structural steel, pipe, and heavy industrial components using forklifts with capacities up to36,000 lbsin a mainly outdoor yard setting.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:(Including but are not limited to the following)
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment with capacities up to36,000 lbs.
- Transport structural steel, pipe, fabricated assemblies, and production materials throughout the facility
- Load, unload, and stage materials to support manufacturing and assembly operations
- Conduct pre-use equipment inspections and report deficiencies
- Proven commitment to safe work practices and equipment operation in a heavy industrial environment
- Work closely with fabrication, assembly, logistics, and warehouse personnel
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Participate in continuous improvement and safety initiatives
- Materials handled may include:
- Standard pallets and oversized pallets up to 8′ x 16′
- Structural steel lengths up to 40 feet
- Pipe lengths up to 40 feet
- Heavy industrial equipment and fabricated assemblies
- Materials handled may include:
- Valid forklift certification recognized in Alberta including Rough Terrain Forklift, Class 7
- Minimum 2 years of forklift operating experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or heavy construction environment
- Demonstrated experience operating forklifts with capacities up to
36,000 lbs. - Experience handling oversized, long-length, or irregular loads
- Rigging experience and/or rigging certification considered a strong asset
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs when required
- Strong awareness of workplace safety practices
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
- Must reside in Calgary or the surrounding area
- Ability to work overtime and occasional weekends as required
Preference will be given to candidates with experience operating high-capacity forklifts (20,000 lbs.+), handling oversized loads, and working in heavy industrial manufacturing environments.
