Location:Calgary, AB Employment:
Contract to Hire Industry: Manufacturing Compensation: $ 22/hr
Schedule:40 hours /week About the Opportunity:
Reporting to the Production Manager, this position is responsible for mounting and basic wiring of components with standard layouts/options, performs sub-assembly functions, as required, and developing enhanced wiring skills under the direction of a more experienced Electrical.Why You'll Love Working Here:

This Function, You Will-Assemble and mount electrical, mechanical and sub-assembly components onto pan, into enclosures, structures by following standard layoutsWire electrical products with basic/standard options as required by following customer drawing packages and schematicsWire electrical products with a non-standard option by following customer drawing packages and schematics under the direction of a more experiencedElectrical Assembler-Check for functionality by performing continuity check buzzing outComplete checklists as required-Assemble enclosures/structures where applicableDeliver sub-assemblies to the production areasSupport inventory maintenance in sub-assembly area by performing cycle counts, following standard materials procedures, accessing information through CSSMJob Requirements What You'll Bring:
High School Diploma or GED2+ years of experience in performing continuity testing ("buzzing out") on electrical assemblies.What Sets You Apart:
Knowledge/experience with basic wiring schematic symbols is an assetThe successful candidate must have Grade 12 or equivalent level of education, effective communication and interpersonal skills and be a team player.
