With Alstar Group of Companies Ltd. leading the industry since 1969, this role is vital for operations at our Calgary Shop. You'll handle material distribution, unload freight, and check for product inaccuracies. Candidates familiar with packing lists and material identification will thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
• Efficiently unload freight and confirm product counts
• Review articles for discrepancies and follow protocol
• Verify received materials against packing slips
• Clearly label valves, fittings, and pipes efficiently
• Operate forklifts safely within the workplace
Requirements:
• Experience in warehousing and material handling
• Knowledge of flanges and fittings is advantageous
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
• Forklift certification preferred
• Familiarity with MS Excel or Google Sheets required
