Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Powder Coater to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying powder coatings to various metal components, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet company standards. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where previous knowledge and Powder coating experience are highly valued. The Powder Coater will play a critical part in the production process, contributing to the creation of durable and aesthetically appealing products.

The Job is fulltime. The coating aspect of the job is Part Time. You will be coating 1-2 times a week, and helping around the shop when not coating. Washing material, helping other coaters and working on the line hanging parts

• Prepare metal parts for coating by cleaning, masking, and surface preparation using hand tools and power tools.
• Operate powder coating equipment, including spray guns and curing ovens, following safety procedures and quality standards.
• Inspect finished products for quality, uniformity, and adherence to specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on coating equipment and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations.
• Follow lean manufacturing principles to optimize efficiency and reduce waste throughout the coating process.

• Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality finishes on all coated products.
• Good understanding of safety protocols related to powder coating operations and equipment handling.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
