Industrial Painter

About Us:A-Apollo Windows & Doors Ltd. is a growing manufacturer of high-quality windows and doors serving customers across Western Canada. We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Industrial Painter to join our production team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, mixing, and applying paint and protective coatings to window and door components while maintaining a high standard of finish and quality.
Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare window and door components for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, and ensuring surfaces are properly prepared.
• Mix paints, primers, catalysts, and clear coats according to specified formulas and colour requirements.
• Apply paint using spray guns and other appropriate painting equipment.
• Maintain consistent colour, coverage, thickness, and overall finish.
• Perform touch-ups and corrections where required.
• Inspect painted products for defects such as runs, sags, uneven coverage, overspray, scratches, or colour inconsistencies.
• Follow production schedules and maintain required production output.
• Properly clean and maintain spray guns, hoses, equipment, and painting areas.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Properly handle and store paints, solvents, and other painting materials.
• Work closely with the production and quality control teams to ensure products meet Apollo's quality standards.
• Report any quality issues, equipment problems, or material shortages to the supervisor.
• Perform other production-related duties as required.

• Previous industrial, production, spray painting, automotive painting, or similar painting experience is an asset.
• Experience using spray guns is preferred.
• Knowledge of paint mixing and surface preparation is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow measurements, formulas, colour specifications, and work instructions.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a production team.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to lift and move materials as required.
• Willingness to learn Apollo's painting processes and standards.

• $20.00–$24.00/hour based on experience.
