Become a Control Systems Specialist at Lassonde in Calgary, Alberta. This role focuses on maintaining and improving automated production systems for greater efficiency and safety.
In a full-time capacity, you will play a crucial part in programming PLCs, maintaining control systems, and collaborating with engineering and production teams. Ensure the reliability of automated processes and assist in capital projects while optimizing equipment performance through analytical approaches.
Key Responsibilities:
• Program and maintain PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems
• Integrate automation solutions with existing MES/ERP systems
• Conduct preventive maintenance and troubleshooting
• Participate in project execution and documentation management
• Provide training and support to operations teams
Requirements:
• Engineering diploma or degree in a relevant field
• 3 to 5 years of experience in manufacturing, ideally in food or beverage
• Hands-on knowledge of Allen-Bradley and similar systems
• Relevant engineering certifications are a plus
• Forklift operation skills required
