Embrace a pivotal role as a Production Planner at De Havilland Aircraft of Canada. Your expertise will be essential in planning, scheduling, and coordinating all manufacturing activities.
This role requires you to create and manage schedules, determine material availability, and ensure all production activities align with completion and shipping dates. With a structured Monday to Friday schedule, including some weekends, you will dynamically address production challenges while collaborating across teams for optimal workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and sustain production schedules for timely delivery
• Generate work orders and manage required documentation
• Provide timely updates on production status and exceptions
• Liaise with procurement on material requirements
• Identify performance improvement opportunities in production
Requirements:
• Over 2 years of experience in a manufacturing setting
• Competent with ERP systems and Microsoft Office
• Strong English communication skills
• Preferred knowledge of technical drawings
• Capable of working shifts and lifting 50 pounds
