Drive EHS initiatives as an EHS Specialist at Plasti-Fab in Crossfield, Alberta. This on-site role focuses on enhancing safety and environmental compliance in manufacturing settings.
You will coordinate and execute EHS activities, ensuring all regulatory requirements are met while developing training for employees. Your efforts will include conducting incident investigations and reporting, updating policies, and maintaining safety documentation. Collaboration with multiple manufacturing plants will be crucial to improving and maintaining high safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee EHS programs to enhance workplace health
• Implement employee training for safety compliance
• Manage documentation for hazardous materials
• Conduct regular workplace audits and inspections
• Lead ISO
14001/9001 certification efforts
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science or related discipline
• Three to seven years EHS experience in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of provincial regulations and ISO standards
• Excellent communication and problem-solving capabilities
• Certification in Standard Intermediate First Aid
