Control Panel Wiring Specialist

Build and test industrial control panels with CDN at its Calgary NE Branch, using electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and hand tools.

As a hands-on Control Panel Specialist, you will transform finished drawings into accurate, tested panels ready for shipment. Reporting to the Fabrication Supervisor, you will build and wire panels from start to finish. The work emphasizes fabrication, assembly, troubleshooting, and production deadlines rather than design.

• Lay out, drill, and mount panel hardware
• Install breakers, relays, PLCs, and other components
• Complete point-to-point wiring from electrical schematics
• Strip, crimp, ferrule, route, and terminate conductors
• Perform continuity checks and basic functional testing

• One to two-plus years building industrial control panels preferred
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
• Comfort using crimpers, wire strippers, drills, and multimeters
• Familiarity with Allen-Bradley, Phoenix Contact, or Weidmuller
• High school diploma or equivalent

Apply panel fabrication, precise wiring, and testing skills while supporting CDN’s Calgary fabrication team and production deadlines.
