At Cubbi, we’re building a foodtech ecosystem for businesses connecting local restaurants, workplaces, and smart food tools that unlock value for everyone. We help companies feed their teams with fresh, handcrafted meals from the best local restaurants: NO markups, NO delivery fees, NO tips. Just great food made easy.
Behind the scenes, our technology helps restaurants leverage idle kitchen downtime to reach new customers and grow efficiently. On the business side, we’ve built tools that help managers improve performance, support wellness, and make everyday work more enjoyable.
Now we’re looking for a hands on marketing operator who can build, run, and improve our growth engine using a modern toolkit including AI.
This is a role for someone who wants to own the work and the outcomes, not manage a team of people doing the work.
Role Overview
As our Marketing Lead, you’ll own how we show up in the market and how we grow. You’ll build campaigns, test channels, dig into performance data, and create repeatable workflows that drive real business impact.
This role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution, but it’s not a slide deck job. You’ll be expected to ship, learn fast, and improve what matters most.
Your mission: drive measurable growth by building smarter marketing systems and executing relentlessly.
What You’ll Do
You will:
Own and execute growth experiments across acquisition, activation, retention, and revenue
Build and iterate on campaign strategy across channels (email, paid, partnerships, lifecycle, organic, local activation, etc.)
Use AI to move faster and smarter:
Create workflows for content production, segmentation, and campaign iteration
Automate reporting, insights, and recurring marketing tasks
Explore new tools and adapt quickly as the landscape changes
Dig for signal in the data:
Pull performance metrics, build dashboards, and spot trends
Analyze funnel performance and identify the biggest levers
Run post mortems and turn learnings into next actions
Build systems that scale:
Repeatable processes that make marketing execution faster and higher quality
Partner closely with sales, ops, product, and leadership to align on priorities and move quickly
Track and improve KPIs tied to real outcomes (pipeline, conversion rate, CAC, retention, revenue, engagement)
What You Bring
You thrive in a startup environment where things move fast, change often, and every decision matters. You’re ambitious, resourceful, and love turning ideas into real results.
Must Haves:
Strong execution skills and a bias toward action
Proven ability to improve marketing performance using data (not vibes)
Comfort operating independently with high ownership and accountability
Ability to learn quickly, test quickly, and iterate without needing perfect information
Strong communication and writing skills (clear, direct, customer focused)
Practical experience using AI tools to increase output and effectiveness (automation, analysis, content workflows, experimentation)
You’ve built lifecycle or performance marketing systems end to end
Bonus Points:
Experience in B2B, local marketplaces, foodtech, or operationally complex businesses
You can work directly in tools like Hub Spot, Webflow, GA4, Looker, Metabase, SQL, etc.
You’ve shipped creative growth experiments that actually moved KPIs
You’re obsessed with making marketing measurable, repeatable, and scalable
What Success Looks Like (First 60 to 90 Days)
You’ve built a clear view of the funnel and current performance baselines
You’ve shipped multiple experiments and can show what’s working (and what isn’t)
You’ve created repeatable workflows using AI to increase marketing throughput
You’ve improved at least 1 core KPI meaningfully through focused execution
The team trusts your judgment because you bring data, clarity, and momentum
