The Dino's in the Faculty of Kinesiology is currently seeking a Full-time Regular Coordinator, Marketing
.
Reporting to the Manager, Communications, the Coordinator, Marketing supports the planning and execution of marketing and advertising initiatives across digital, e-marketing, and traditional platforms. This includes coordinating campaign development, assisting with creative messaging and asset production, and overseeing the distribution of physical and digital marketing collateral.
The work environment is fast-paced and results-oriented, with multiple simultaneous deadlines. The incumbent must be able to work under pressure and in a variety of environments and with a variety of people.
The flexible work schedule is 35 hours per week, with the peak period from September 1 through April 30 each year. Weekend and evening work may be required during the athletic season.
Summary ofKey Responsibilities Advertising
- Lead the coordination and execution of advertising campaigns, including seasonal, sport-specific, and event-based initiatives
- Oversee the implementation and trafficking of multi-channel advertising across digital, social media, print, out-of-home, and in-venue platforms
- Manage advertising production timelines and coordinate the flow of creative assets with internal and external vendors
- Ensure all advertising materials meet required specifications, and maintain consistency in messaging, branding, and visual identity across all placements
- Maintain campaign schedules and coordinate multiple concurrent advertising initiatives to ensure timely and organized delivery of all deliverables
- Support the tracking, compilation, and basic analysis of advertising performance data
- Coordinate the creation, scheduling, and distribution of e-marketing campaigns, including email communication, digital newsletters, and promotional messaging
- Serve as the key contact for email distribution projects, including major events, RSVP campaigns, sponsor offers, and internal communications
- Manage the preparation and deployment of email marketing assets, including accuracy of content and formatting
- Work with internal stakeholders to gather content, approvals, and campaign requirements
- Maintain and update email lists and audience segments
- Monitor e-marketing performance metrics
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to email deployment
- Coordinate execution of sponsorship agreements, ensuring all deliverables are met
- Ensure sponsorship agreements are fully integrated across marketing, events, and communications channels
- Support sponsor and partner stewardship and reporting efforts
- Support the consistent application of the Dinos brand across all marketing and promotional materials
- Coordinate the development, production, and delivery of creative assets, working with internal stakeholders and external vendors as required
- Assist in translating campaign needs into creative briefs, ensuring all required information, timelines, and specifications are communicated
- Oversee the ordering and distribution of physical and digital marketing collateral
- Review marketing and promotional assets for accuracy, brand consistency, and adherence to specifications
- Provide creative support to internal stakeholders, including varsity teams and departments
- Support the adaptation of creative assets across multiple formats and platforms
- Support the planning and execution of student-focused engagement opportunities, including promotional tables and activations
- Support the coordination of community engagement opportunities, including appearances, outreach events, and partnership activations
- Assist in developing and distributing promotional materials
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, such as alumni and student groups, to support promotional efforts
- Assist in the delivery of game day and event-based activities as required, such as minor sport and alumni nights
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, Communications, Marketing, Sport Management, or other related area is required
