We are seeking a highly creative and hands‑on Social Media & Content Creator to join the marketing team. This role will support the marketing department by capturing and producing engaging photo, video, and graphic content across multiple brands and channels, while proactively identifying trending content ideas and opportunities. The role will focus on bringing marketing campaigns to life through compelling social‑first storytelling, supporting content execution across platforms, and contributing insights on content performance and audience engagement.

RESPONSIBILITES
  • Create high-quality photo, video, and graphic content for social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, Linked In, and You Tube.
  • Capture content on location at communities, show homes, rental properties, construction sites, events, and activations.
  • Produce short‑form video content including Reels, Tik Toks, Stories, and promotional edits optimized for each platform.
  • Write compelling, platform‑specific copy for social media posts, captions, short‑form campaigns, and community engagement.
  • Assist with writing marketing copy for blogs, email campaigns, website updates, event promotions, brochures, radio ads and other marketing materials as required.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to bring campaign concepts to life through engaging, social‑first content.
  • Support the execution of marketing initiatives by creating content aligned with campaign goals and messaging.
  • Assist in bringing storytelling ideas forward for communities, homes, lifestyle features, events, and company updates.
  • Edit and refine video and photo content using tools such as Cap Cut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms.
  • Maintain strong visual consistency and brand alignment while adapting content for different social channels and audiences.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to ensure timely delivery of content aligned with the broader content calendar.
  • Monitor engagement on posts and flag insights, trends, and community feedback to the marketing team.
  • Stay current on social media trends, audio, formats, and platform changes to inform creative direction.
  • Support on‑site marketing events and capture real‑time content as required.
  • Provide support for additional marketing projects, campaigns, and initiatives as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience creating photo, video, and social media content for brands or organizations.
  • Strong portfolio of short‑form video content (Reels, Tik Tok, You Tube Shorts preferred).
  • Comfortable shooting and editing content independently in various environments ( job sites, events, etc.).
  • Proficiency with Cap Cut, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar editing tools.
  • Strong understanding of Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook, Linked In, and You Tube content formats.
  • Strong written communication and copywriting skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Creative mindset with strong storytelling ability and visual instincts.
  • Ability to take direction from marketing while also proactively contributing ideas.
  • Organized, self‑motivated, and able to manage multiple content deadlines.
  • Experience in real estate, homebuilding, lifestyle, architecture, or related industries is an asset.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Post‑secondary education in Digital Media, Marketing, Production, Communications, or related field is considered an asset.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to travel locally to communities, show homes, and events.
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends for content capture and event coverage.
  • Access to equipment for capturing high‑quality vertical content, including a smartphone tripod, gimbal/stabilizer and wireless microphone, is preferred.
