Public Relations Lead

Stantec is seeking a skilled Public Relations Lead to optimize our Canadian PR efforts and drive strategic content. This role involves media relations, content creation, and crisis management to elevate our brand presence.

As the Public Relations Lead, you will report to the Public Relations Manager for North America, combining strategy and storytelling to enhance our public relations initiatives. You'll build relationships with media, develop targeted materials, and actively manage crisis communications. Your duties will include creating engaging social media content and collaborating with various departments to fulfill Stantec’s communication objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Foster relationships with local and national media

• Develop and distribute targeted media materials

• Lead crisis communication efforts when necessary

• Create content for social media platforms

• Monitor and report on media presence

Requirements:

• 7+ years in public relations or communications

• Strong storytelling and writing abilities

• Experience in digital content management

• Bachelor's degree in relevant fields

• Familiarity with thought leadership strategies
