Role Description

Reporting to the VP, Marketing & Communication, Office Canada the Marketing and Customer Engagement Manager will be responsible for all marketing, communications and event strategy, planning, management, and execution for Quad Real’s Calgary office portfolio. The diverse and exciting portfolio includes Jamieson Place, KPMG Tower, Livingston Place, Intact Center, Western Canadian Place and Westmount Corporate Campus. The Marketing and Customer Engagement Manager will work with the property teams and other members of the National Office team in the execution of marketing & communication strategies designed to elevate the Quad Real brand, drive consistency in how we engage with our customers and community and ultimately provide a best-in-class experience for those who work at or visit a Quad Real office property.

Responsibilities
  • Influence the Quad Real Experience standards for the Toronto Office portfolio, implementing the standards and working with the property teams to ensure the standards are maintained
  • Support the management and promotion of amenity offering across the portfolio
  • Create and execute an annual marketing calendar of events and programs that provides a rich experience for our customers
  • Create and manage communication plans including writing content to be shared across multiple channels, including but not limited to Quad Real+, websites, email, and documents that can be referenced by property teams
  • Partner with property teams to deliver a customer appreciation programs that starts from when we welcome new customers to our properties, provides ways in which we can continuously appreciate customers and personifies "Excellence Lives Here"
  • Provide an annual marketing and events budget for each property, reporting quarterly on any variances
  • Emphasize retail offerings as an amenity at each property by establishing partnerships with retailers and neighbouring businesses to deliver an elevated customer experience
  • Collaborate regularly with counterparts across regions
  • Remain up to date on trends in the commercial real estate and hospitality industry, always looking for ways in which Quad Real can elevate the experience we offer our customers
Experience and Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education in communications, marketing, or other related field; including solid understanding of a variety of software
  • 3-5 years' experience in a marketing and communications capacity
  • Event management experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate to various audiences in a clear and concise manner
  • Advanced in Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, Power Point
  • Strong initiative and interpersonal skills to execute change
  • Experience with Graphic Arts software (Ex. Canva).
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite is an asset - InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple departmental lines
  • Excellent project management, market research, strategic planning, and budget management skills
  • Ability to prioritize workload and handle competing priorities and deadlines
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work well independently as well as in a team environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with an ability to work well in a fast paced, high profile environment
