We are looking for a Marketing & Project Coordinator to support the team across content, campaign planning, social media, project coordination, and marketing execution.
This is a hands-on role for someone who is organized, curious, creative, and comfortable moving between writing, coordination, content gathering, task follow-up, and marketing production support.
Roughly half of the role will focus on social media, content, and campaign support
. The other half will support project coordination, internal follow-ups, meeting notes, asset gathering, and marketing production tasks .
This is a growth role. The right person could grow into more project ownership over time, but they should not be expected to independently manage complex or sensitive projects right away.
Requirements & SkillsCampaign & Content Support
- Support campaign plans, content plans, and marketing execution documents.
- Help draft or organize scripts, social copy, campaign copy, email copy, and content outlines.
- Gather inputs from clients, internal team members, existing materials, and AI-supported workflows.
- Support "What We Heard" reports, campaign summaries, simple decks, and presentation materials.
- Help turn strategy or meeting notes into practical campaign tasks.
- Support internal Mammoth marketing where needed.
- Help create, schedule, and publish social media content for Mammoth and assigned clients.
- Support social calendars, content calendars, posting schedules, and approval workflows.
- Draft captions, gather assets, organize content, and prepare posts for review.
- Monitor assigned channels and flag comments, risks, or engagement opportunities.
- Support basic social reporting and performance tracking.
- Research trends, formats, examples, and content ideas.
- Support Amanda, the PM hire, and project teams with coordination tasks.
- Prepare meeting notes, action items, and follow-ups.
- Keep project tasks updated in Asana.
- Follow up on missing assets, feedback, approvals, and deadlines.
- Help organize project files and working documents.
- Support small deliverables, campaign pieces, and production tasks.
- Help ensure internal team members have the information they need to move work forward.
- Help coordinate creative, content, video, web, and social deliverables.
- Support basic copywriting and content preparation for print and digital materials.
- Assist with QA/proofing for clarity, accuracy, and completeness.
- Support content shoots, local activations, and boots-on-the-ground production needs where appropriate.
- Help prepare materials for internal reviews and client reviews.
- Use AI tools responsibly to support brainstorming, outlining, drafting, research, and organization.
- Help improve repeatable workflows for campaign planning, social content, and project coordination.
- Bring forward practical ideas for improving efficiency and quality.
- Interest or experience in marketing, communications, social media, content, project coordination, or a related field.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Strong organization and follow-through.
- Comfort managing multiple tasks and shifting priorities.
- Ability to take feedback and improve quickly.
- Comfort working with social media platforms and digital tools.
- Ability to turn messy information into organized next steps.
- Willingness to ask questions before going too far in the wrong direction.
- Ability to work well with creative, strategic, and technical team members.
- Ability to work from the Whitehorse office at least 3 days per week.
- Experience creating content for Instagram, Facebook, Linked In, Tik Tok, or other platforms.
- Experience with Canva, Adobe tools, Google Workspace, or similar tools.
- Experience with Asana or other project management software.
- Experience with Webflow, Mailchimp, Typeform, Google Analytics, or social scheduling tools.
- Experience with basic reporting, analytics, or digital campaign tracking.
- Experience working with clients, community organizations, events, tourism, non-profits, or small businesses.
- Interest in AI tools and how they can support marketing workflows.
- Experience working in the Yukon or across Canada’s North.
- Wage range of $24-$30/hour depending on experience
- Full-time preferred, but open to part-time or contract for the right person
