Social Media Expert

Position: Alberta Cancer Foundation Social Media Expert
Become a vital part of the Alberta Cancer Foundation as a Social Media Advisor. Amplify our mission through innovative social media strategies and enhance community engagement across Alberta.

Reporting to the Manager, Marketing, you will develop and lead a strategic social media approach to support fundraising efforts and increase brand visibility. Utilizing your expertise, you'll be responsible for creating, scheduling, and sharing engaging content while fostering relationships with community supporters and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the comprehensive social media strategy aligned with goals

• Curate and publish engaging, on-brand social media content

• Analyze social media metrics and optimize content strategies

• Build relationships with partners for collaborative storytelling

• Organize digital assets and maintain social media systems

Requirements:

• Diploma in marketing, communications, or related field

• 2–4 years of social media channel management experience

• Experience in non-profit or mission-driven contexts

• Strong analytical skills for strategic decision-making

• Valid driver's license and superior organizational abilities
