Development Director

Position: Honens Development Director Role
Become Honens’ Development Director in Calgary and take charge of fundraising efforts. This leadership role is key to engaging donors and ensuring a sustainable future for the arts.

You will oversee individual giving, corporate sponsor ships, and grants, collaborating directly with the President & CEO and Board of Directors. Your strategic approach will help deepen relationships with supporters and maximize resources to advance Honens' mission in classical music.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy

• Build and foster strong donor relationships nationally

• Lead grant writing and reporting activities

• Organize impactful donor engagement events

• Ensure effective tracking and reporting of fundraising initiatives

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5–8 years in fundraising or related fields

• Success in major gift fundraising and donor engagement

• Project management expertise with strong organizational skills

• Familiar with financial management in fundraising campaigns

• Flexibility to attend evening and weekend events
