Position: Facilitator for Gender Equality Program
Become a Counsellor/Facilitator with CIWA in Calgary, focusing on a culturally responsive program for newcomer men. Contribute to gender equality and well-being initiatives.

This part-time position (18.75 hours/week) involves working within the Uncovering Promising Futures project. You will engage with immigrant and refugee boys and men on vital topics, fostering healthy relationships and accountability. A male-identifying candidate is necessary for rapport-building on such sensitive issues, making your experiences invaluable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct engaging program sessions for participants

• Utilize trauma-informed methodologies throughout facilitation

• Encourage discussions around masculinity and violence prevention

• Document participant engagement and session outcomes

• Support emotional well-being and personal growth

Requirements:

• Male-identifying applicant due to the nature of the role

• Background in working with immigrant populations beneficial

• Proven facilitation and communication skills required

• Ability to build strong relationships with participants

• Dedication to promoting gender equality initiatives
