Description
The Faculty Development within the VP Development and Alumni is currently seeking a Full‑time Regular Associate Director of Development, Haskayne School of Business.

Summary of

Key Responsibilities

Lead and execute fundraising strategies to secure major and leadership gifts in support of Haskayne School of Business priorities.

Build and strengthen relationships with donors, alumni, volunteers, and community leaders to advance philanthropic support.

Manage a portfolio of major gift prospects and donors through qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship activities.

Identify and develop new philanthropic opportunities aligned with faculty and university strategic objectives.

Collaborate with faculty members, academic leaders, and volunteers to engage prospective donors and advance fundraising initiatives.

Prepare compelling fundraising materials including proposals, cases for support, stewardship reports, presentations, and donor communications.

Work collaboratively across the Development and Alumni team to support donor engagement, stewardship, and campaign initiatives.

Ensure adherence to University policies and prospect management practices while maintaining accurate donor records and activity tracking.

Represent the Haskayne School of Business at events, meetings, and community engagements as required.

Qualifications / Requirements

University degree or related education preferred, with a minimum of three years of directly related experience, preferably in fundraising, business development, sales, relationship management, or a post‑secondary environment.

Demonstrated success in building and maintaining strong relationships with donors, clients, stakeholders, or community partners.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to develop persuasive written materials and articulate a compelling vision.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage effectively with senior volunteers, business leaders, faculty members, and prospective donors.

Sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to work effectively within a large, complex organization.

Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Self‑motivated, proactive, energetic, and results‑oriented, with a commitment to achieving fundraising goals.
