Join The Brenda Strafford Foundation as a Community Programs Facilitator, making a difference for women and children. This part-time role involves resource programming and group facilitation until May 2027.
As a facilitator at Heart Home Network, you will research resources and implement annual programming aligned with strategic goals. You'll lead adult group sessions, promote community partnerships, and support clients in achieving their self-identified goals. Your crisis intervention competencies will ensure safety and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and plan resource programs for the community
• Facilitate engaging group sessions for participants
• Empower clients through evidence-based programming
• Collaborate on volunteer scheduling and training
• Maintain accurate client service documentation
Requirements:
• Diploma in Social Work, Psychology, or equivalent experience
• Strong background in adult education and facilitation
• Knowledge of trauma-informed practices
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Flexible schedule to accommodate participants
