Position: Community-Focused Philanthropy Officer Role
Lead impactful fundraising efforts as a Philanthropy Officer at United Way of Calgary and Area. This full-time, one-year contract emphasizes donor engagement and community building.
In this crucial role, you will report to the Manager of Major Gifts, focusing on cultivating and soliciting contributions from both mid-level and major donors. Engage meaningfully with volunteers and the business community, and utilize CRM tools to manage donor interactions effectively. Your work will be vital in achieving fundraising milestones and making a positive impact on local lives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate mid-level and major gift prospecting

• Provide enhanced stewardship for donor engagement

• Build supportive relationships with various stakeholders

• Monitor communications in a CRM for data accuracy

• Collaborate with teams for effective donor strategies
Requirements:

• Proven fundraising experience with individual gifts

• Skilled in relationship-building and communication

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• In-depth knowledge of fundraising principles

• Driver’s license and vehicle required
