Development Associate at Kindred

Help drive Kindred’s fundraising efforts as a Development Associate, focusing on donor engagement and community initiatives. This on-site role supports critical fundraising activities.

In this contract position, you will work under the Director of Philanthropy and Engagement managing donor portfolios. Candidates should possess fundraising experience in the non-profit sector and have a strong ability to build robust donor relationships. This role impacts community connection and organizational growth significantly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of potential and existing donors

• Support the execution of fundraising events and logistics

• Train volunteers and enrich their engagement experience

• Write funding proposals and manage grants

• Foster relationships with scholarship donors and stakeholders

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field

• 3-5 years of non-profit fundraising experience

• Strong skills in donor engagement and organization

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
