This role as a Licensed Practical Nurse involves working under the Director of Care, focusing on person-centered care in a supportive environment. You will manage patient care through accurate assessments and care plans while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to provide compassionate support. This position ensures adherence to care standards while addressing the unique needs of each resident.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary care team

• Coordinate and communicate care plans effectively

• Provide direct nursing care and monitor resident health

• Delegate tasks to unregulated care providers

• Support infection control and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Valid registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse in BC

• Preferred experience in gerontology or long-term care

• Strong clinical and communication skills needed

• Current CPR and First Aid certification essential

• Complete a Vulnerable Sector Check prior to starting
