Nurse Practitioner: Medical Cannabis Consultation

Be a part of Apollo’s mission as a Nurse Practitioner serving mostly veteran patients through our virtual consultation platform. Flexible scheduling is available for this important role.

This Nurse Practitioner role, open to candidates licensed in any province, focuses on helping veterans access medical cannabis. You will provide consultations, educate patients about its use, and monitor their progress with prescribed dosages. Work within a supportive multidisciplinary team dedicated to enhancing patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide consultations and guidance on medical cannabis use

• Educate patients about the benefits and mechanisms of cannabis

• Follow up with patients to assess their responses to treatment

Requirements:

• Registered with the College of Nurses, in good standing

• Strong English communication skills, written and verbal

• Capable of independent work and managing busy schedules

• Excellent organizational and time management abilities

• Experience in mental health or pain management preferred
