Part Time Registered Nurse Position

Enhance patient care as a part time Registered Nurse with Extendicare. This role focuses on delivering quality nursing practices and overseeing established care standards.
Extendicare is seeking an RN to manage nursing practices while ensuring compliance with internal policies. You will assess patient care plans, supervise nursing staff, and provide direction in the absence of leadership. Your ability to collaborate and evaluate will be key to maintaining quality care across the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure resident care aligns with nursing standards and policies

• Assist in developing and evaluating patient care plans

• Manage nursing staff performance and conduct appraisals

• Provide supervisory support in the absence of the Director of Care

• Monitor compliance with physicians’ orders and care standards
Requirements:

• Current RN certification from an approved institution

• Registered with relevant professional institutions

• Experience in community or long-term care settings

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
