In this part-time position, you will be responsible for providing tailored nursing care in a community setting. You will work under the guidance of RNs for complex cases, allowing you to practice and develop your clinical skills.
Your role will emphasize the comfort and autonomy of patients, helping them stay in their homes longer.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care through scheduled community visits
• Ensure safe and ethical care for diverse patient needs
• Utilize assessment tools for patient evaluation
• Adapt care plans based on ongoing monitoring
• Maintain clear and thorough patient records
Requirements:
• CLHA registered Licensed Practical Nurse with active status
• Access to a vehicle and valid driver’s license
• Experience with community care is preferred
• Flexibility in work hours, including on-call responsibilities
• Passion for serving vulnerable populations
Support local health through dedicated nursing with Para Med.
