In this casual role, you will report to the Director of Care and focus on residents with complex needs as well as stable individuals. Your expertise in gerontology and strong communication skills will enhance the quality of life for those in your care. Key Responsibilities:
• Administer medication and direct patient care effectively
• Assess residents' health and adjust care plans accordingly
• Delegate tasks to unregulated care providers when needed
• Communicate urgent care needs to families and team members
• Coach staff to provide quality care to residents
Requirements:
• Current Registered Nurse registration in Alberta
• Experience working with seniors is essential
• Strong critical thinking and time management skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
• Valid Vulnerable Position/Sector Screening (within 6 months)
