Make a difference in residents' lives with Age Care as a Full-Time Registered Nurse in Calgary. This temporary role prioritizes direct care and medication management for seniors.
You will report to the Director of Care while providing essential nursing care in a supportive community environment. Your experience in gerontology, rehabilitation, and communication will enhance the well-being of both residents and nursing staff during complex interventions and care coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care aligning with RN competencies
• Conduct complex care interventions as necessary
• Communicate effectively with families in urgent situations
• Assess residents' needs and coach nursing staff
• Document care to meet regulatory standards
Requirements:
• Registered Nurse registration in Alberta
• Experience with seniors and unregulated care providers
• Strong skills in care coordination and time management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Recent Vulnerable Position Screening (within 6 months)
