As a Registered Nurse at Age Care, you will supervise and guide Registered Practical Nurses and Personal Support Workers while providing essential nursing services. You will collaborate with healthcare teams, review physician orders, and ensure adherence to nursing standards. Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate on implementing Age Care policies
• Supervise nursing staff and lead shift reports
• Liaise with physicians and healthcare team members
• Document significant changes in residents' health
• Administer medications and treatments as required
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Strong background in long-term care nursing
• Knowledge of relevant health care regulations
• Registration in good standing with provincial registry
• Understanding of the Fixing Long-Term Care Act
