As a Registered Nurse at Age Care, you will report to the Director of Care, providing comprehensive nursing services and medication administration while adhering to compliance standards. This role requires a strong understanding of gerontology and essential nursing competencies to meet the diverse needs of residents.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide advanced nursing care for complex resident needs
• Administer medication and perform restricted tasks as authorized
• Adjust care interventions based on ongoing assessments
• Communicate effectively with families during emergencies
• Support stable residents and coach nursing staff in care delivery
Requirements:
• Current Registered Nurse registration in the province
• Experience with seniors and unregulated care providers
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Recent Vulnerable Position/Sector Screening certification
