LPN Position Drop-In Centre

Make a significant difference as a Licensed Practical Nurse at the Calgary Drop-In and Rehab Centre. Support clients on their recovery paths while working in a compassionate, community-centered environment.

In this LPN role, you'll be integral to the Recovery Oriented System of Care, providing vital medical and emotional supports for clients facing withdrawal and recovery challenges. You will operate under a trauma-informed framework, utilizing your nursing skills in assessments and health education to uplift individuals in need.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver trauma-informed nursing care in various programs

• Organize health promotion and vaccination clinics

• Document health assessments accurately and efficiently

• Partner with team members to facilitate resource access

• Engage in emergency response as necessary

Requirements:

• Must possess a two-year Practical Nursing diploma

• Registration with CLPNA required, in good standing

• CPR-BLS certification is essential

• Proof of Professional Liability Insurance necessary

• 1-2 years experience in relevant fields preferable
