As an RN at Age Care, you will engage in delivering essential nursing care according to standards while overseeing medication administration and documenting care accurately. This role demands strong communication skills and clinical knowledge to assist in complex care scenarios while providing guidance to unregulated providers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct nursing care to residents with varied needs
• Ensure medication administration is done accurately
• Facilitate family communication during urgent situations
• Coach nursing staff on care quality improvement
• Implement complex care interventions based on assessments
Requirements:
• Active Registered Nurse registration in applicable province
• Experience in long-term care and with seniors
• Education in community or complex care preferred
• Proven ability in critical thinking and care coordination skills
• Recent Vulnerable Position/Sector Screening
