Position: Full-Time Practical Nurse

As a valued Licensed Practical Nurse at Age Care Dawson, your role will involve providing goal-directed nursing care under provincial standards. You’ll work closely with an inter-professional team and the Director of Care, ensuring that care assessments and service plans are executed effectively. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience, bringing leadership skills alongside their nursing expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive resident clinical care assessments

• Implement and monitor effectiveness of care/service plans

• Schedule and attend resident care conferences

• Administer medications and document care accurately

• Facilitate resident moving/transitions with the Director of Care

Requirements:

• Practical Nurse Diploma and current registration

• 3+ years working with seniors’ health

• CPR training and certification required

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

• Leadership and mentorship abilities
